Agnes Thyben Obituary
97 of Scottsdale, passed away on March 11, 2011. She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on October 27, 1913. Agnes and her family moved to Scottsdale in May of 1957. She retired at the age of 80 from the Orange Tree Golf Resort. Agnes always put her family first. She dearly loved all her children, grandchildren, great grand children and in-laws. "They are my heart" She lived a challenging and fascinating life. Extensive travel was a priority in her senior years; visiting Europe, Japan and Hawaii were three of her favorite destinations. Agnes always remained the perpetual optimist with a wonderful sense of humor. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas, beloved son Barry and precious grandchildren Lisa Brown and Christopher Browning. She is survived by four children, Roger and Claude Thyben, Connie Brown and Deborah Browning, seven grandchildren and sev
en great grandchildren. A memorial service and reception will be held 11:00 AM Saturday April 9th at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ.

Thinking of you grandma, and all the amazing wisdom and good nature you bestowed on us all. Your faith in God inspired me to trust in him too! No matter how hard things were at times, whenever we spoke, you always asked me: "What are you doing with your singing Stacey dear?" And followed up with: "god doesn't give that kind of a gift to everyone, don't take it for granted" Love and miss you today and every day!!!
