Anita Villegas Obituary
Age 73, better known to family and friends as "Honey" passed away on March 12, 2011. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Nana, and Sister. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Anselmo Sr.; 3 children, Jennifer (Dennis) Cabello, Anselmo Jr., Monica (Troy) Geiger; brother Manuel (Berta) Martinez; and 3 grandchildren, Corina, Paul II, and Sierra. Honey was born July 26, 1937 in Hayden, AZ where she was the 9th of 10 children. She later moved to Phoenix where she worked for St. Joseph's Hospital and the Isaac School District. She loved Elvis, puzzles, horror movies, scrapbooking, and shopping. Mom, we love you and we will miss you dearly. You left us too soon. We will keep you forever in our hearts. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Wednesday, March 16 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral services will be 10 am, Thursday, March 17 at St. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 North 27th Avenue, Phoenix. Interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale. Condolences to the family in these hard times. I have fond memories of Tia Nita right around when Jennifer was born. Carmen(my mom) and Arthur David send there sympathy as well.

I am sorry for the loss of your wonderful wife and mother. I will always remember her beautiful smile, and the joy and pride that she took in her family. The jewels in her crown were her children. God bless you all.
