Dear Amanda, Amy, Bryan, & extended Blunt Family,
I just learned that Paul will no longer be able to grace us with his presence! He was a great friend to me & many others that we knew mutually! He greatly loved his Mother, Father, brother, & his many friends - both socially, at church, & in his work! He was always very generous with his love, laughter, hugs, & parties! Paul, you left footprints on all who knew you! You will be greatly missed! XO in Heaven!

To the Family,

I am sorry for your loss. Paul was an Insurance Client of mine and was a real joy to deal with. He had his moments but like another person said on here...you never knew what he would say next. Always left me smiling and laughing. He will be missed greatly!

Dear Blunt Family, Oliver and I own Bella Roma Pizza in Bisbee. We first met Paul as a customer and became friends. Paul was a very intelligent, talented, and caring person. He told us several stories about working for his father at his photography business in Bisbee as a young boy. We were shocked to see Paul's obituary in today's paper. He truly was a unique person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Paul was brilliant, funny, sensitive, and just too many other adjectives to even list. Through happy times and turmoil, whether yours or his, he was always ready with a joke, a story, or accent just make you laugh, or a hug to let you know he cared. Very frequently my son reminds me of something Paul did or said, or some story he told. I will forever cherish all the memories I have, including the late night talks and the Fourth of July celebrations. He is truly one of the greatest people I have ever met, and I will miss him dearly. Cows have no memory (Paul knows what this means), but I do, and I will remember you forever Paul. My heart and prayers go out to all those who had a truly special place for him in your hearts, and those who remained true to Paul when he needed you the most.

March 17, 2011

To Paul's family: All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. When I found out that Paul was no longer with us, I kept thinking it can't be true. Whenever I saw Paul, he gave me a big hug and always had a big smile. Please accept my condolences. Cathy Mason

Marlene & Lenny

March 17, 2011

Dear Blunt Family, Lenny and I were Paul's neighbor, for the past 2 1/2 years, in Scottsdale. We were so shocked to hear of his passing. He was a really neat guy. We visited with him and Ceaser, when they came by our house, on their daily walks. Ceaser would always drink the water, out of our waterfall. Paul will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Marlene and Lenny

Dear Amanda and Amy, Brian and family and "the boys from Bisbee",
There are no words for this profound loss of our dear friend. In truth, there are no words adequate to describe the completely unique and powerful spirit that was Paul. He was a storyteller, a loyal friend, an entertainer, a very proud father, and a restless seeker. So many memories fill my heart. Chelsea and I are in new York and unable to be with you today, but our thoughts and prayers are with you.I think it is appropriate that Paul's service be on St. Patrick's day, as he always livened up any get together at our house and always did a great Irish brogue.
Love from Peggy and Chelsea

To my fellow Blunt family,

I'm so sorry about Paul. What a tremendous loss to all of us. He was one of a kind with a wonderfully wicked sense of humor.

I loved Paul dearly and have amazing memories of our reunions and time spent at his house in Scottsdale. Too many memories to mention but, the first time I met him in Chickasaw, OK was one of the most fun times together. My all time favorite memory was when we all met in Seattle for Bryan & Julie's wedding. The night of the rehearsal dinner we were running late, it was raining like crazy and we had to get on a ferry to go to Vashon Island. We cut in line (a huge no no apparently) and we were getting honked at and a guy got out of his car in the pouring rain to tell us to go to the back of the line. Of course, Paul refused. When we got to the ferry (finally), the car in front of us told on us for "cutting" and the police kicked us out of the line right there and forced to go back to the end. Paul was absolutely hysterical...it was the single best and funniest car ride ever.

My hearts go out to you Amanda, Bryan, Amy and all of the family and friends. I'm beyond sad at losing Paul.

To Amy & Amanda, as well as the rest of the Blunt family. Paul was an awesome friend and boss to me for 14-years. His work in the area of prevention of nursing home abuse, elder abuse and financial exploitation became the corner stone for Arizona's Elder Abuse Statutes -- he helped many, many clients and those clients became his friends; he believed in training his staff and provided equipment and educational opportunities BEYOND what was required. He will be forever a wonderful memory to me, and many others. TO PAUL...I loved you like a brother, you will be missed. Kathy Knight (Certified Legal Assistant ..because he pushed me to suceed). TO AMANDA-call me any time you want to reminesce....I've know you since you were 3-years old, and your daddy loved you soooooo much!

Dear Family,
We're so sorry to hear that Paul has left us. He was always a good friend and nice guy. We grew up in Warren and attended Greenway Elementary together. Then later in high school, he was always happy and smiling, generally just fun to be around. Friends from the class of 71 were just asking about him and hoping he'd attend our 40th reunion in July. He'll definitely be missed.
May God bless you all.
