Grandpa,
I remember when I was little, I used to call you all the time and we would talk for hours. You always gave the best advice and you said everything straight to the point. You are one of my biggest role models. The day I found out you were sick, I called you right away and you were the one comforting me. You always put everyone before yourself. Grandpa, you were one of the most caring and loving person that I have known. I really can't believe you're gone, but I am glad you're not in pain anymore. I called you the day before you passed away, I know you couldn't talk but I'm glad I got the chance to tell you I love you one last time. I'm going to miss you Grandpa. I love you so much and I am going to tell Stephanie all about you.
Love you,
Jackie
P.S Grandma said "at least we still have one 'Jack' You were named after him."

To the Ewers family,
I want to send my sympathies to you and your family in the passing of Jack. I was fortunate to work with Jack for years at the City and loved listening to Jack sharing his love filled stories of the grandkids and his lovely wife. I know the Good Lord has Jack in His arms and he has already played a couple of games of golf. He will be missed. Respecfully, Ginger Zuber
