Walter Harrison Obituary

Harrison, Walter
Walter F. Harrison, of Tonto Basin, former Payson resident passed away on March 11, 2011. Walter was a retired APS employee, a former member of Payson Christian Church and a member of the Tonto Basin Bible Church. Walter was also the Chartering Master of the Payson Masonic Lodge and a Patron of the Eastern Star #64. Walter was also a veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW post. Walter is preceded in death by his loving wife Marguerite Harrison and great grandson Jonathan Ghent. He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Goff, grandchildren Jennifer Turner and Julie Ghent of Tonto Basin and Mr. & Mrs. Skip H. Shelton of Goodyear. Survivors also include great grandchildren Marc Tony Adams, James Ghent, Wensey Shelton, Patrick Crooks, Logan Houser, Great great grandchildren Mackenzie Adams and Tatum Adams.A visitation will be held at Messinger Payson Funeral Home (302 W. Aero Dr.) from 3pm until 8pm on Thursday March 17 with a funeral service at the Masonic Lodge (200 E. Rancho Rd.) on the following day, Friday March 18th at 10am. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 11AM on Tuesday March 22nd.
