I see Bob all the time. He is everywhere--people look like him or act like him make me smile. I see his bizarre, quirky sense of humor in his daughter Aimee. I see him when I look in his mother's face. He is never missing from my life.

Next week it's been a year since you left. I prefer left than died. I lie you. I love you. I live you. I will cherish you and sing your song all the days of my life.

to my daddy, i think of you everyday and often times throughout the day. i see you when i look at animals, i think
of you when i am lonely, sad or delighted and wishing i
could share my thoughts and
experiences with you. and then
i stop and feel your presence
in that moment. i feel you in the wind, in my children's voices and most of all in my heart. i miss your honesty, your above all caring heart and passion for learning. i love you and as i would often tell you, if i could give you disneyland i would.

I guess I am going to post a thought finally. There are no words to really describe the loss of my father. He is with me at all times in my heart. I thank everyone for their love and support.

Dear Aunt Dorothy, Sheila, Michelle, Aimee and all of Bob's family:
We were shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of cousin Bob.
Eventhough it has been many years since we have seen Bob, we all still have very fond memories of our childhood times spent together. Please know that you are each in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
We are very sorry for your tragic loss. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Uncle Bob was one of a kind; a brilliant man and very interesting. It is no wonder Chris loved him so much. He was his hero. I am honored to have known you Uncle Bob.

Okay...Bob don't knock over the candle and burn up Heaven! My brother was a funny, loving, intelligent, crazy guy and I will miss him forever. I have a thousand stories I could tell about him and a thousand tears I will shed for him.

So I hope he and Chris are driving my dad nuts as usual and having a great time waiting for the rest of us to join them.

Robert Deslauriers will be missed by many people and as Aimee said - by many animals. He was one of a kind and those who knew him will never forget him. I will love him and miss him for the rest of my life. I know that he will still be protecting and watching over all those he cared about and we wouldn't want it any other way.

To anyone that didn't know my Dad I would share with you that he will always be the most brilliant, witty, caring, honest and most animal loving person I have ever had the honor to know.
He was my closest friend and there was little I didn't tell him, and I will miss him every moment of my life. And smile at every animal that I see, and know that he is with them too.

he will be missed - here is a photo from the AZ state fair 2010
