Donna Stout Obituary
Donna L. Stout, 67, of the Greater Phoenix area, died March 14, 2011, in hospice care surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 17, 1943, in York, PA, the daughter of late Emerson and Mary Matthews. She was the middle daughter of 3 siblings. In retirement for the last several years she enjoyed serving as a board member on the Glendale Union High School District and finished her last elected term in 2011. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Emerson and Jessica Judkins of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Alison and Caitlin Judkins of Murfreesboro, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Scott Stowe of Glendale, AZ and several nephews and great nephews and nieces. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Stout, a WWII veteran; and her sister Bonnie Lou Matthews. Visitation will be held at 2 pm Sat, March 19th followed by a memorial service at 3 pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home in Glendale, AZ. Donna's family will always remember her for her outgoing and good natured spirit, kindness of heart, and love of life.

Donna was a joy to know and a good friend. She worked very hard on the governing board and took her duties very seriously. I feel lucky to have known both Bill and Donna. May they rest in piece, together once more.
