Dear Ruelas Family,
I join with so many others who knew Pops in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life. Pops has left behind great, healthy children who became fine parents, that I look up to.

The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. I want you to know that I'm here for you and your family. God does not test people who do not have the courage to pass the test. It is important to hold on, keep your faith and keep Pops in your memories often.

I am here for you all and would like to stop by, to assist you with any chores or activities that you may need help with.
Yours In Faith,
Raphael M. Moreno III

The world was a better and funnier place with Pops. What a truly sincere, strong, and loving person. The best dad and sole provider of his children. Always reaching out when anyone was in need. You will sorely sorely be missed.

To my daddy dearest, where do I start. You were a father & a mother at the same to all 3 of us. That was so hard for you, but you never complained. I just wish I had one more chance to tell you that I loved you, or call you and tell you that I was having a bad day, or to tease you that I was by your favorite part of the golf course (the water). I know that you are up in heaven with Nana and Tia Clara, and that you will looking over Mike's, Caren's, and my family. I just hope and wish that I could be 1/2 the father that you were to us. I know that someday that we will see each other again.
Love Mark

To my daddy dearest, my best friend, my mentor, my everything! I will miss you so much! Our talks, our laughs, our goofy pictures. You mean the world to me, without you here a big piece of my heart is gone. You were there for EVERYTHING important in my life. You were my dad and mom all in the same. One of the last time's I talked to you, you said how proud of me you were. Well, dad I'm proud to have you as my dad. In my eyes, THERE IS NO BETTER DAD IN THIS WORLD THAN YOU!! I love you and miss you always. Daughter Dearest (Caren)

Mondy, Captain of the football team, MVP, Mr. Statesman, Homecoming royalty, president of the Lettermans Club, you were truly "big man on campus". The 1971 Carl Hayden yearbook is more like a tribute to you. I appreciate you taking me under your wing then and for the things you did for me later in life. You were a great father to my nephews and niece. Mark, Mike, and Caren, I see a lot of your dad in each of you and I am very proud of the adults you have become. Please know that we are here to help you any way we can.

To my dear brother-in-law Mondy, it's been a long 40+ years of knowing you. All the way back to seeing you in the Carl Hayden hallways, you always had that sneaky little smile on your face, like the cat who just ate the bird. It's been a pleasure Mondy & you will be missed. Rest in peace but drop in from time to time to keep an eye on Peter-he loved you so.

To my dearest uncle you will be missed by all of your family. We will miss going to the Sing High and ordering food for an army, and I still remember monday payday's at Little Louie's.
You have made sacrifices for your family that will never be forgotten. You kept your children safe when there was no one else to do so, and for that I always held you in the highest regard. A true family man.
As many have said, yes we will definetely miss that devious yet joyous laugh that you had, your nasty jokes, and insatiable zest for life. Here in our household we will all deeply miss you, and wish you safe travels on your way to Heaven.

Love You Always,

Greg Ruelas and Family (Blanca, Greg Jr, Matthew, and Andrew)
