Beatrice Tallabas Obituary
Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, April 28, 1930, went home to our lord on her graduation day March 15, 2011. Beatrice, devoted her life to her husband of 63 years, Antonio V. Tallabas and their children Sarah, Ramona (Doug), Antonio Jr. (Noelia), Michael (Rita), Lilly (Gilbert), Vivian, Henry, Richard and Sylvia. Also survived by their numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, and her two beloved sisters Dolores and Tillie Mae. Visitation will from 10:00-11:00am, with a Scripture Service at 11:00am Monday, March 21, 2011 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road. Interment will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

I miss you so much my beautiful mother. My little brother Richard and my little sister Vivian are with you now. So much has happened in our family since I last wrote to you...It is still very painful here without you. I still wish you were here with us and i think about what a wonderful mother you were to each of your children. You made us feel so loved. Many times I feel you here with me, and I start to feel so sad because you are not here with us, You were the joy in our lives. I always knew if I had a problem that was too hard to handle, talking to you would always put my mind at ease. I love and miss you my beautiful and gentle Mama. Oh, How I wish you were here with all of us...But..I know you are with my Daughter Beatrice and my son Ismael and your Mama Tillie and the rest of our family that is with you. Nothing is the same without you. You were the gentle soul that kept our family together. My father misses you and often speaks of you and how much you two were so in love, and he looks forward to seeing you again. I know he wants to see you, but..I don't want him to leave us...I love him so much. Hi Mama, It's your second daughter "Mona".....I was sitting here thinking of you and missing you. Every time I am alone in my home, I start to think about you and my daughter "Beatrice". and my son Ismael and find myself crying and wishing you all were still here with me....I carry you all in my heart and I know I will see you all again when It is my time. Hello my beautiful mama. I have been thinking so much of you lately, more than usual. I miss our private little jokes only me and you knew what they were about. We sure did spend a lot of time at the casinos together. Many times we spent almost two days there without going to sleep..lol. You were they only one that had the stamina to stay up with me. One fond memory ..of many. That we shared was when we used to go to Frys store and go look through all the cards and tell eachother. Look at this one....and we would spend hours looking and laughing at birthday cards and such, until my dad would call and ask ..where the heck are you guys at..."the casino??...haha..then we would start laughing and say..'I guess it's time to go home...we had so much fun together and I miss your laugh and your funny little jokes and just you being my mother.

You were always the light in my life no matter what my troubles where you would listen to my woes and pat my head or play with my hair.
