Don Davis Obituary

Davis, Don A.
former Phoenix, Arizona attorney for more than 37 years before his retirement, died on March 16, 2011. He was born June 10, 1937 in Monroe, Michigan. Following high school, he attended the University of Michigan where he was awarded degrees in Business Administration (B.B.A. 1959) and Law (J.D. 1962). He practiced law as an associate lawyer with Lewis & Roca (1963-1968) and as a partner of Murphy & Posner (1968-2000). Surviving in Phoenix are his son Andrew and daughter Elizabeth Hargett; adopted son Christopher; and 5 granddaughters. Also surviving are brothers James H. of South Haven, Michigan and Robert J. of N. Fort Myers, Florida. Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com to send online condolences.
