Evelyn Deacon Obituary

Deacon, Evelyn (Lynn)
The world lost but heaven gained a wonderful woman when Evelyn (Lynn) Deacon passed away on Feb. 28 2011. She will continued to be loved, cherished and fondly remembered by many. Her smile was both beautiful and contagious and her love for others was shown in the way she always put other people needs first. Lynn truly enjoyed life, her caring family and her many friends. She was born in Irvington, New Jersey 86 years ago to Bill and Margaret Krenke. She lived in Union, NJ until 1962 when she moved to Scottsdale, AZ with her beloved husband Harry and their 3 children. She worked as a bookkeeper for Bashas' for many years and remained a loyal friend until she passed. She continued several wonderful friendships from her Scotty Club, from back East, as well as developing new friends from her bridge club, golf, work and neighbors. Her husband and her brother, both of whom she loved dearly, passed several years ago. She will continue to live on in the many great memories shared by her children Robert (Saralee), Richard (Esther) and Nancy (Harry). She will continue to be cherished by her 5 grand children and 4 great grand children, who she adored. Lynn always put others first and did so with true caring and with a genuine smile on her face. She loved and is loved now and forever. A celebration of Lynn's life will be Sat. March 26th at 10 am at Messinger's Mortuary 7601 E. Indian School Rd. in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers donations to Children of Promise/Youngkin Mission Tijuana, 6844 Loop Rd. Centerville, Ohio 45459-2159 or any no kill animal shelter are welcome.
