Sylvia, you will be missed but never forgotten. You always had a simple chore for me when I saw you, and a chocolate reward for me when I finished. You'll always be in my thoughts. Love, Dean Sherry III

So many sweet memories that date back to your time in Scottsdale. We met on the tennis court and every day after our play time Tom would come over to have lunch with us. Our friendship was formed and for over 20 years we laughed traveled and partied at each-others homes . My summers at the shore in Coronado and trips to Vegas for my opening nights at the many Casinos all thru the 60's & 70's.
I will miss your voice and treasure all the years we spent in laughter .
My heart goes out to Herb and Allen and Bertha and your loving Sara.

I knew Silvia for many years(from 1985)in Scottsdale and then the summer trips to Coronado. She came to our home for all our big parties and played tennis with Rusty Warren. We had breakfast a few times at Hotel Del Coronado. She would come to the beach with her grand daughter Sarah and we would boogie board in San Diego. Silvia always had a smile on her face and that voice I'd recognize anywhere, "Hi, it's Silvia." at the other end of the phone. She and Tom were a delightful couple. When I needed a place to stay on a visit to Scottsdale she opened her home to me. Rusty loved her dearly and even after we moved to Hawaii they kept in touch. My love to the family. She will be fondly remembered. I heard Sarah got married...grandma loved you so much. I remember how she spoiled you as a child. Silvia was a giving, caring person with a big heart for others. You will be missed.

I have had the wonderful pleasure of knowing Mrs. Kalish's son, Allan, who has been a wonderful, and long time friend. Although never having met Mrs. Kalish, I had the pleasure of speaking with her during her son's brief trip to my family home in Pennsylvania. She was thoughtful and most gracious in her conversation with me and made me feel as if I had known her for a lifetime. She leaves a wonderful legacy behind in the lives of all who love her. Her memory will endure through my continued friendship with Allan. My heart felt condolences to the family. Laura H. (PA) formerly (NY)
