Tommy Mays Obituary
78, of Tempe, AZ died March 17, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. Born Oct. 17, 1932 in Oklahoma City, OK to Izor and Mildred Mays, Tommy is a graduate of Oklahoma City University, and a former board member of the Road Runners Prospecting Club. He is also a veteran of the US Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Mays; children, Ronald Mays and Roberta Shuburn, both of OK; stepsons, James Yount and Scott Yount, of AZ; and step-grandchildren, Jason Yount, Sarah Yount and Nathan Barbero. Three brothers, Charles Mays, Robert Mays, and Donald Mays, also survive. At Tom's request, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in the name of Tom Mays may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
