Mr. Moeller was always a kind, gentle man as a teacher/principal. Never did he get upset or angry, especially at a lackadaisical person like me who just made it through Algebra. I was so pleased when he asked me, after '54 Mott High School graduation, to work on his team at the SCS office measuring land wheat acreage for the summer.
It was such a joy to see Mr. Moeller and his wife when they came to our 50th year class reunion here in Bismarck. He had such a good memory and it was so much fun reminiscing and talking, especially about the antics of Mr. Guthrie.
Heartfelt sympathy to his wife and family for the loss of your dear husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather.

Mr.Moeller was a very fine teacher and role model for the students in the class of 1958. He made mathematics a favorite subject for me. He also showed great courage chaperoning our class trip to the Black Hills. My thoughts are with the family.

Dearest Pastor Bob & Cheryl Moeller,
I give each of you and your family my deepest sympathy and empathy with the loss of Mr. Homer Moeller.
"We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words."
1 Thessalonians 4:14-18
Praying that the Lord will comfort and heal your hearts at this difficult time and that you will grieve with HOPE in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to one day be united again.

My thoughts and prayers for the family. The class of 61 at Mott, ND is having a 50 yr. reunion and I was to find Mr. Moeller. I found him in Arizona and called him Sunday, Feb. 20. We had about a 15 min. chat and reminiscing about Mott Linclon High School students and the teachers. He said he was in good health and was very please to be reminiscing and asked many question about Mott. I was one of his math students and sorry to see his passing as he made a large impact on me and in education. To Lois and his family may your memories help ease the pain of your loss.

Mr. Moeller was my math teacher at Golden Valley High School, Class of 1971. I enjoyed math and have applied it often in my life. And I've also gone on to become a teacher for the last 19 years. I credit Mr. Moeller for helping to shape my career and send prayers to his family.

Mr. Moeller was the high school principal in Mott, ND for all 3 of us Kramer boys, Charlie Class of 54, Jack Class of 56 and me Jim Class of 62. I did not know that he was a bomber pilot in WWII. He is one of my heros, because if it had not been for him and countless other brave Americans, this country would be in shambles today. We expend our sympathy to his family and friends.

I was a former student of Mr. Moeller's at Golden Valley High School, Class of 1970. Mr. Moeller was always kind, soft spoken, caring, and intelligent. Math was one of my favorite subjects. With gratitude to Mr. Moeller, and sending you peace and comfort at this most difficult time.

The Moeller family had great influence on my life as a youngster in many aspects of Mott life, including community, church, school and even home. Homer's daughter,Carol and I used to hang out together so I spent time at their house. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I thank the whole family for being a positive influence on my life.
God bless,

Where to begin...so many memories of Homer (he insisted I could call him that the last time we met)...He was our neighbor, our principal, and, mostly, our friend.
Carol, I have a mailing address for you, and I will write. I know Dad and Rick share my message of comfort and memories.

Mr. Moeller was one of my favorite teachers back at Golden Valley High School. Although I was only 16 years old at the time, he impressed me as a good and decent man who loved his career in education. Several years ago I ran into him and Mrs. Moeller at the Mall of America and we visited for a few minutes. I remarked that he still looked the same, liked he hadn't aged over all the years. Mrs. Moeller laughed and agreed. I'm happy we had that chance to visit. Your father had a greatly positive impact on scores of people.

It has been 50 years since I graduated from Mott High (ND) where Mr. Moeller was the principal. His respectful manner is still clear in my memory. His approach to discipline was not to put us down, but to motivate an improvement. His math classes were challenging, but attainable. All of us have great memories of his positive leadership. He had a rich life. To Lois and his family, may your memories help to ease your loss.
