William Ritchey Obituary

Ritchey, William Russell
Bill passed away on February 18, 2011 at the noble age of 90. His life began October 28, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill started his military career in the calvary and went on to serve with great pride in 3 wars for the U.S. Air Force. In 1970 he retired in Phoenix, Arizona where he taught and played tennis. He was able to play until he was 78. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his son Robert, daughter Lynne and grandchildren Nora and Ethan. He will be laid to rest in Indianapolis, Indiana with his beloved wife Barbara of 56 years. We will all miss his happy nature. Donations may be made to the Az Humane Society. Mr.Ritchey was one of the most happiest spirits I have ever met. It was a pleasure coming to work every day and having his big smile to greet you.No matter what kind of day you were having , when you were around him you would forget what bad things were going on in your life. I will truly miss him, but i know his angel is watching each and everyone of us each day. .....
