Charles Walters Obituary
65, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on March 8, 2011. Charles was born to Henderson and Della Marie Walters (Adamson) on November 6, 1945 at 12:10pm in Saint Louis, MO. He was baptized in the United Church of Christ in Claysburg, PA. Charles attended Mesa Community College and Northern Arizona University, after which he joined the military and spent the rest of his career in the Air Force as a Master Sergeant. Charles was also a member of the Disabled American Veteran's Organization. Charles is preceded in death by his father; Henderson Walters and grandparents; Charles and Edie Walters of Jewelridge, VA and Charles and Lola Adamson of Toledo, IL. Charles is survived by his mother; Della Marie Walters of Phoenix, AZ, Life Partner; Betty Worcester, former wife; Penny Walters, sister; Brenda Blaha (Walters) of Spring Branch, TX, brothers; Bruce Walters of Flagstaff, AZ and William Walters of Phoenix, AZ, children; Scott Walters of Maricopa, AZ and Tamra Docking (Walters) of Phoenix, AZ, and five grandchildren; Keegan, Elora, Derek, David, and Tony. A funeral service will be held at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd in Tempe, AZ, on Tuesday March 22, 2011 with a visitation beginning at 5:30pm and services starting at 6:30pm. I will miss you Chuck. We had such plans 45 years ago. You left us way too soon and I promise to look after our children and grandchildren and make sure they know who you were. I am so glad you found your way back to the valley when the kids would come home. We had some good times. Be at peace, you have earned it.
