I remember Chet as being one of the nicest, kindest of men, especially to a small 4-H kid who loved horses. He let me ride his beautiful Quarter Horses, baby sit his sons and I have such fond memories of The John's home and family. I am so glad I knew Chet, and sorry he is no longer with us. He was one of the good guys.

Our deepest sympathy to dear Kay and the entire Johns family. I have known Chet and Kay for over 60 years and never knew two more delightful people. Chet was always the "ultimate" gentleman. We will cherish our last dinner with Chet & Kay just a few weeks before his passing (courtesy of Jan & Tom Ross) we will greatly miss him as I'm sure many. In the Valley and the State will. My comfort goes out to your family. I understand the pain your feeling. It's been a long time but my father like chet
and kay and brian and steve. My dad Nick Kondora died last year. He had many nice things to say, about Mr. Johns.
God bless your family

I knew Chet. his dad and brother Rick many years ago when we were all farming all over the valley. Sorry but I haven`t seen him or Rick in many years. People seem to go in different directions at times. My heart goes out to the family. He was too young to leave this world.

Chet will long live on in our memories, for his enthusiasm in life, especially his Kay, and family, and his great love of all things equine. He will truly be missed by all his many friends as well. May he rest in peace.
