Christopher Abril Obituary
22 years old, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. Injuries from a car accident were too severe. We find peace in knowing Chris had the love of Jesus in his heart. This love was in Chris's strong hugs, rare humility, and limitless generosity. He is watching us from heaven with his easy going smile. Christopher lived a life he wanted; he enjoyed it and made it count through his strong will. In his caring way, Chris would tell us today, "Everything will be fine." There is no one like you, Christopher. My boy. My Mijo. My grandson. My Mijito. My brother. My Son. My kid. My tío. My Cha Cha. My cousin. My Profé. My Peekaper. My friend. My Chris. Our love for you continues to grow and will be with us always. Chris, a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory, was a senior at Arizona State University studying to be a veterinarian. If anyone wishes to make a donation in Chris's name, his family asks it is given to the Arizona Humane Society. Services are Friday, March 25, 2011 at 4:00pm, Our Lady of Fatima, 1418 S. 17th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, 85007.

I am a Xavier parent, and am so sorry for your loss. I to lost my son, 2 years ago and know how you feel. Lean on your faith, this is the only way to live through this everyday. The pain is always there, but your son will always be there for you. Our Lord let us borrow our sons now they are free and in heaven. I hope my prayers lift you and your family. Chris was my cousin by blood, but my brother in my heart. I met Chris when I first moved to Arizona almost 3 years ago. As soon as I met him it was like I had known him for years already and our friendship grew rapidly. i am so so incredibly lucky to have met such an awesome human being, it now feels like he was not human at all, but an angel walking the earth to touch every life he can before he was sent back home.
