Ruth Loe Obituary
96 of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on March 15, 2011. Born in Shouns, Tennessee in 1914 to Ross and Verta Brown, the family moved to Northern Arizona in 1915 and Ruth remained a life-long Arizonan from that point forward. Ruth married Joseph "Sparky" Loe in 1937 and together they had two children, Lynda and Jim. Ruth is predeceased by Sparky (2007), sisters Mildred Halvorson and Lucille Thompson, brother Al Brown and is survived by one sister (Evelyn Mancuso) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, children Lynda Arthur (Carroll), Jim Loe (Judi), grandchildren Tim Diehl, Wendy Smith (Terry), Angela Kennedy (Sean), Matthew Loe (Michelle), and great grandchildren Krista, Kyle, Riley, Ellie, Caiden, Teagan and Jackson. Ruth is also survived by ten nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be at 10 am on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ. Family suggests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201-0001 or Wounded Warriors Family Support, 920 S. 107th Ave., Suite 250, Omaha, NE 68114. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
