Lee Schmid Obituary
83, of Glendale, AZ passed away on March 15, 2011. Lee put his faith in Jesus as Savior as a young man. He married June Rose Schaeffer in 1948 and moved to Phoenix in 1956, where he continued to serve the Lord faithfully his entire life. He is survived by his 3 children, Randy, Greg, and April Zimmerman, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Friday, March 25th at Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85013, at 2pm. Flowers can be sent to the church, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideons International. Tributes may be made to www.almoore-grimshaw.com

to the schmid family. Your folkes were a blessing to me i can remebre when i was young setting with allot and getting my hugs. my thoughts and prayers are with you all. and going to there house allot. and Randy and April my huggs to you guys if i can do any thing pls shout at me

Barbara and I will miss Lee . Many long time memories back to 1956 at BBC and on the Board. Lee was one of the calmest Elders over the years. Never a quick decision, but always bathed in Prayer. The times in Hawaii and San Diego were always full of fun and discussion. We ask the Lord to bless his family as they grieve his loss,and treasure all the teachings and legacy of his life. I'm glad he didn't have to wait 'til the Lord came for him...but was" out a here" as his bumper sticker said.

We will miss having your dad at our table for holiday meals. I loved his chuckle! He leaves behind a great legacy of faithfulness to the Lord.
