Mildred Cordas Obituary

Cordas, Mildred Miller
Mildred Miller Cordas of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011. She was born in Brewster, Ohio the 6th child in a family of 8, on February 27, 1917, to John and Cecelia Miller. She retired from the Commonwealth of PA in 1982 and entered her membership at the East Mesa Christian Church at that time. She is survived by two sons, Jon Cordas and Dr. Stevan Cordas, Euless, Texas; daughter-in-law Maxine Cordas; sister-in-law Dr. Barbara Miller; one sister, Eva Miller of Mesa; three grandchildren, Dorian Fox of Ft. Worth, Texas, Philip Cordas of Texas and Steve P. Cordas of Colorado; three great-grandchildren, Riley and Jordan Cordas of Texas and Jacob Fox of Ft. Worth, Texas; she is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Her interest focused on her love of family, cooking, music, art, antiques and travel. She was concerned with health and environmental issues. She was a member of the Sunland Village Board. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm at East Mesa Christian Church, 706 S. Greenfield Rd, Mesa, with her pastor officiating. Memorials may be made to her church. Arrangements are by Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel. 480-832-3500.
