Elmer Rasmussen Obituary
Elmer Rasmussen passed away March 19, 2011 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born December 9, 1919 in Dix, NE. He served 3 years active duty in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He leaves behind his wife DeLoris, 4 step-children, 4 children from a previous marriage, 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. His life was full as a farmer, serving on many community boards and helping others in his home state of Nebraska. God has taken another angel home. The visitation for Elmer will be from 11:00 am- 2:00pm Friday March 25, 2011, with the funeral directly following at 2:00pm, both at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85207. Entombment will take place at Desert Star Mausoleum. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (480-832-2850).

Our sympathy to Elmer's loved ones. Elmer was a great help to our kids in learning some building skills. We loved having them learn from him, not just those skills, but the wisdom of old age, as well.
