Konnie Barry Obituary
went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2011. She was 55 years old. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 3:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Kaster-Maxon Futrell Funeral Home 8817 Dyer Street El Paso, Texas 79904. Survivors include her husband, Craig Barry, three daughters, Kimberly, Ashley and Paige Barry. Her mother, Mary Louise Muckelroy, twin sister Karoll and husband Willie Tolentino, two brothers David and Gary Muckelroy. "Through the darkest of pain shall we find the most beautiful of light."(kb) Mother was that beautiful light that shone through. Her beautiful smile and laughter could light up any room. She had the voice of an angel and now she can sing down on us with them. We will forever carry the void of her absence in our hearts. May you rest in peace Konnie. The twins were the fastest sprinters in all of El Paso in 1969-70. And when Candy Lewis came to town the three of them with Jackie Mitchell were the fastest 440 yd. relay in all of El Paso.
Such talent will never be seen again at such a young age. Condolences and sympathies to the barry and Muckelroy familes.

I am so sorry for the family's loss. I haven't seen Konnie since we swam against each other many years ago, but I think of those days often and I have always wanted to catch up with the Muckleroy twins. Again, please accept my condolences and know that I am praying for the entire family.

Konnie was such a joy to be around. A second mom to me for many years. Even when Kim and I would get into trouble, she took in stride. I still remember her laugh all these years later. I feel honored and blessed to have known her. The testimony to what an amazing woman she was lives on in my beautiful friend, Kim. My prayers are with you! You will have a guardian angel watching over you always.
