Can it really be two weeks since you left us? I miss you so much already. We never got to play that Scrabble game. My mind keeps uncontrollably scanning the past 23 years and there are so many memories resurfacing. Our silly mutual loathing in junior high, being inseparable in high school, moving out, moving on, standing beside you as you vowed your love (one of the happiest moments of my life). Occasionally parting but always coming back to one another.

Ups & downs. Highs & lows. I am grateful for them all. I wish so badly that you were here to laugh and reminisce. Your friendship has brought so much comfort to me. Knowing that we could depend on each other without fail was one of the few constants that I could hold to during the rough years. And maybe it wouldn’t have worked for others, but our friendship was exactly what we both needed. It and you have meant so very much to me.

For now, I will keep reminding myself of the way you smiled from ear to ear when you brought baby Anthony to meet me for the first time, the way you lit up coming home from the hospital to see Daniel waiting for you, the way you beamed about Gabriel finally walking. I will do my best to let them know about the Rosemary I was honored to know.

Friday mornings and my life will never be the same.

Love you my sweet friend...

my dear friend Rosemary, Thank you for your friendship, I will miss you. You have such a beautiful heart and spirit. I admired that. You always had that beautiful smile on your face. I will forever be thankful for having you in my life, even though we didn't talk regularly you were still one my my good friends and I will never forget you. Like I said before come check on me every now and again. I know your walking with the Angels and I feel your smile shining down on me. I love you and I will miss you. Until we meet again.

To Peeper, Gordo and the rest of the family and friends. You guys have been through more than your share in the past few years, but I am glad you guys have all found your own sense of peace with knowing that Rueben and Rosemary are no longer in pain. Rosemary... When we were little, we were inseperable. As, we grew older, and became estranged, you were still held highly in my heart. As with my own sisters, you were my baby sister, too! Not too long ago, we began to e-mail eachother, and I kept hoping to find another e-mail from you... I just hope you knew how much you meant to me. I love you and will miss you! ~Lisa Rose
