Ripley, Jeanne Harris
Jeanne Harris Ripley, devoted wife of the late George Ripley III, passed away surrounded by family in Phoenix Arizona on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the age of 84. Mrs. Ripley lived in Paradise Valley since relocating from Wellington Palm Beach, Florida in 1989. She was an avid reader, active in local women's civic and social organizations. She loved games and game shows, and was an active member of P.E.O. The family extends its heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Allbest Assisted Living in Scottsdale for their tender loving care in recent years. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 28th at 1:00 at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, Scottsdale, Arizona. Mrs. Ripley was preceded in death by her husband, George Ripley III, a retired American Airlines executive, and is survived by her four children, George Roy Ripley of Fort Worth, Texas, Susan Ripley Miele of Paradise Valley, Arizona, William Cameron Ripley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jonathan Lee Ripley of Allen, Texas, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
