I was stunned when I received word of Greg's passing. I'm saddened as well that I failed to maintain contact with him over the past decade. His unabashed zeal to enter any and all situations without fear will be a testimony as I share with kids no matter the setting. At least outwardly Willie was fearless. As men we often have the wild thought of who would we want next to us as war is waging and Willie would undoubtedly be on my list. I do hope our paths cross in heaven - I can see his smile now as I type this.

Willie was a Friend, Roommate, and Groomsman in my Wedding. One of the best story tellers ever. From the days of Boot Hockey, Archies, Mainstreets, Golfing, North Star games, are memories with Willie I will never forget. There will never be anyone like him.....Goodbye Buddy.

Willie and I were good buds in Minnesota and we both moved to Arizona about the same time. Willie had a tremendous gift of gab and his stories were incredible. Willie was very generous and always had a 19th green ticket for me during the Phoenix Open. His legacy will always live on. Thanks for all of the good times Willie!

Willie and I were best friends growing up in Edina. I am truly saddened by the news of his passing. He and I had a lot of great experiences growing up as teenagers. Some of my funniest experiences included his antics. He was a daring and fearless guy who didn't know the word "can't". I have a million stories of Greg but He was the master story teller and was always good for a gut busting laugh. He will always live on in my memories. A toast to you Willie!
