Lucile Koffarnus Obituary
passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the age of 101. She was born in Red Granite, Wisconsin on July 24, 1909. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leo. Lucile is survived by her daughter Judith Tollefson (Jim), son James Koffarnus (Pat), grandchildren Mike Koffarnus, Todd Koffarnus, Amy Herren Koffarnus and Brian Tollefson, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a life long member of the Order of Eastern Star. Lucile loved crocheting and knitting and for many years sent various garments to servicemen and women within the United Sates and Overseas. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home, Chandler for their care and kindness. The family request donations in memory of Lucile be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014. Arrangements were made by Melcher Mission Chapel.
