C. Lyne Obituary
73, died, March 27, 2011. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church 1244 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ. Michael was born in London, England, November 23, 1937 to Patrick J. Lyne and Hannah M. Walsh. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen and their sons, Patrick (Annette), Sean (Barbara) and a daughter, Nora (Edward) Collins. Michael will also be missed by his 6 grandchildren, Allison and Andrew Lyne, Erin, Katie and Dylan Collins, and Emily Bernards. Michael was a Die-Hard Chelsea fan and Opera Lover to the end and beyond! In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or the Ameican Cancer Society 4550 E. Bell Rd, #126, Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary.

Dear Kathy, Nora, Patrick, and Sean,
We are so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. May he rest in peace with beautiful opera music playing all around him. We all can remember how he so enjoyed it, and what wonderful neighbors you were to us when we moved to Wildwood Drive. You are all in our prayers and thoughts. With our sincerest condolences,

Kathy, Patrick, Sean and Nora I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear husband and Dad. You are all remembered in my prayers. Thank God that you are such an awesome family because you will help each other during these difficult days. Thinking of you all.

Michael Lyne, a truly "Wonderful Man". I want to thank you for opening your door to me during the past two years and breaking bread with your wonderful family. I have always enjoyed the stimulating conversations, and realize under that gruffness was a gentle lamb - filled with love. You and Kathy did a great job in raising 3 wonderful children and your legacy will keep living on through time. You will be missed, but you will be with all who knew you, forever.
Love you Mike and miss you my dear friend.
