Heidi Monteith Obituary
46, of Phoenix passed away on 03/26/11. Heidi Schilling Monteith, 46, of Phoenix, AZ lost her valiant battle with lung cancer the morning of March 26, 2011. Heidi's greatest passion was being an exceptional Mother and Wife. Heidi was always full of energy and loved life to the fullest. She adored dogs and cats, she would have had all the strays if it would have been possible. They always seemed to find their way to Heidi's home. Heidi cherished life here on earth with her loving husband of 20 years Monty and her son Jackson 12 years old. Jackson was her absolute pride & joy. Along with Monty & Jackson she leaves behind her adopted sister Bridget, her Mom Kathy, Dad Bob, Aunts and Uncles, cousins and many friends. Celebration of Heidi's life will be held at The Point Hilton Tapatio Cliffs from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday April 2nd. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cancer Treatment Center of America or the AZ Humane Society. P.S. Jackson got your Penny from Heaven!

To Heidi"s parents, Your long ago neighbors are so heartbroken for you, her husband and son. Sonny and I remember your sweet girl who was so kind to our three girls. Joyce Chaney contacted us, and we send our sympathy to you.
Our Molly went home to Jesus just last year, this month. She had breast cancer which didn't give her a year more. We lean on Jesus for our comfort daily, we pray that comfort for you too. With love, Glen and Janel Hawkins Valley Center, Kansas.

Heidi, you have been one of the most important people in my life for 17 years. You are so dear to me and no one will ever take your place. We shared many memories, many laughs, much love, and a deep understanding and forgiveness for one another's flaws. That's what friends are for. That and laughing so hard that we almost pee our pants together! Save me a good spot in heaven. Can't wait to see what stupid stunts we can get away with next!

Being able to know Heidi was an honor. Seeing her beautiful smile everyday while coming in for her radiation treatments (even on the hard days)was inspirational! She spoke so fondly of her husband and son daily. Monty, Jackson, and Bridget... I am so sorry for your loss.

Monty and Jackson, I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Heidi was an amazing woman who touched the lives of so many. Her positive and upbeat attitude was such an inspiration to me, but she's always been that way. It was one of the things that drew me to her as a friend in 9th grade gym class where we first met. We consider ourselves blessed to have had Heide as a part of our lives as our sons grow up together. Heide was a class act, a positive force, great mom and loving wife and friend. The bleachers will be a little darker this year but we know that she'll be there with us rooting on all the kids. My family and I will miss Heidi's sense of humor and the time we spent together on the baseball field yelling our war cry in support of our sons' baseball team and "doing our time" in the snack shack having fun, laughing and enjoying being parents together. My prayers go up for all of Heidi's family.
I watched Heidi grow up alongside my own children and witnessed her beautiful wedding to Monty and there are no words to express the sadness I feel learning of her passing - a life cut way too short. One thing I do know, beyond all doubt, is that Heidi is resting comfortably and peacefully in God's loving arms. Heidi - beautiful in every way, sweetness, kindness, generosity, love and caring for the well-being of others were perfected in Heidi. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Heidi was the sweetest girl I have ever known and is truly missed. Cheryl and I still think of her as when we first met her at about 4 years old and could dance on her toes. Heidi was the "light" in Grandma Schilling's life and now they are together again.
