Donald Murray Obituary
age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family March 26th, 2011. Born in Oak Park, Illinois he relocated his family to Arizona in 1956, and retired from Motorola after 45 years. Beloved husband of Barbara, for 60 years; loving father of Jim (Cindy) Murray, Judi (Steve) Smith, Jeri Mullen, Jean (Mike) Farmer, JoAnne (Paul) Rowan, Jennifer (David) Wagner, John Murray and Jil Embree; cherished "Papa" of 14 grandchildren; Jason Smith, Andrew Smith, Michelle (Seth) Mazzola, Melissa (Stan) Boskovski, Kristi (Ivan) Vallejo, Derek Rowan, Ashley Wagner, Trevor Murray, Corey Murray, Brandon Wagner, Sara Embree, Ryan Embree, Bryan Murray and the late Shawn Murray; devoted great-grandfather of 7; brother of Patricia Pedicini and Rita Casserly; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at Queen of Heaven Mortuary Chapel 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 1st, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church 440 E. Elliot Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234 with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Jude's Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary.
