Darrell Ramsey Obituary

Ramsey, Darrell Ashley
went home to his heavenly father on March 28, 2011. Darrell was born to Barto A. and Beth M. Ramsey on June 15, 1933 in Littlefield, Texas and moved to Phoenix with his family in 1950. He married his high school sweetheart, Patsy J. Ramsey on July 4, 1952. Darrell and Pat had three children: Darrellene S. Faber (Mike), Pamela D. Ramsey and Kimberly K. Cureton (Dale). Darrell dearly loved his Savior and God, his family and friends. He considered himself deeply blessed in his marriage to Pat, having enjoyed almost 59 years together. Darrell loved life and he truly loved people. He will be greatly missed. Darrell was preceded in death by both his parents and his sister Mamye Dell Ramsey. He is survived by his loving wife; his three daughters and his brother, Bobby M. Ramsey of Phoenix. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 5pm-7pm at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott. A Memorial service will be on Saturday, April 2nd at 10am at Mount Vernon Church of Christ, 120 N. Mount Vernon Ave, Prescott, AZ 86301. The family suggests that donations be made to "What Do the Scriptures Say" television program, c/o Mount Vernon Church of Christ in Darrell's name. Arrangements by Hampton Funeral Home.
