Michael Ledford Obituary
54, passed away March 21, 2011, born January 23, 1957. Beloved husband of Jaye, a Loving father of Meghan, Alex, Marcus and Proud Papa of Adrian. Michael is also survived by his father David Simpson; brothers Dave (Joyce), Wra, Mitch (Lee); sister Jenny (Chuck); mother in-law Dolly Marcus; brother-in-laws Ed, Steve (Bonnie), Aaron and six nieces and four nephews. Michael was a Navy veteran, Artist, Photographer, gardener, History "freak", sports fanatic and "man-of-all trades". Michael was a great friend and co-worker to the students and staff at Roadrunner Elementary. He is preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and Wra Ledford and brother Timmy. Donations in Michael's name can be made to M & I Bank or Roadrunner Elementary School. Location of the Celebration of his life to be held Saturday, April 02, 2011, 2pm at Roadrunner Elementary School, 7702 N. 39th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85051. The world has lost a little piece of sunshine with your loss Mike. Im gonna miss you bailing me out at work when i need to borrow supplies, but most of all ill miss your smile and humor!

Mike may you rest in peace my friend it will not be the same going to Roadrunner to do work now your not there . You will be missed by all on the grounds crew. May god bring comfort to your family.Good bye my friend.

Mike always had a smile on his face and he always made coming to work easy. He always talked to me about Pittsburgh where I am from and he had so many great stories to share. Mike is awesome worker and friend. I will miss you very much RIP in Mike. Our Prayers and thoughts go out to your family that you always talked about. I feel very blessed to have met you.

The world has one less Good Guy in it. Mike was just that. He was a special man. Roadrunner staff and children loved Mr. Mike and will miss him terribly.
