Maria Spirandi Obituary
58, of Phoenix passed away on March 28, 2011. A beloved mother of two, daughter, and lifelong companion to all that met her. Maria is a leader, hero, and source of strength and compassion. Maria will be so missed by so many people, what a gift we had to know such a wonderful woman. Survived by her mother Theodora Spyros, two sons Jordan Prassinos and Deon Pearson, brother Evans Spyros, and niece Laura Smiley. Services will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85027 on Friday April 1st, 2011. Viewing at 1pm and funeral services begin at 2pm. All arrangements should be sent to Dignity Memorial 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85027, although the family would like to encourage contributions in Maria's name. Contributions will be accepted for Hospice of the Valley and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

My Dear Friend Maria - I enjoyed our business interactions over a period of 15 years and then our friendship really blossomed in the past few years. Maria - a beautiful, strong and smart woman who was keenly focused on perfection in all she did. We attended concerts and happy hours together, with so much fun and laughter. She always spoke of her love of her boys and Griz. The last time we spoke in January, she had lost ber beloved dog "Griz". She did not want to be without him and I am sure they are frolicking together in that other-worldly dimension.
I will remember the laughter, her beauty and recall our time together often. I will look out for the wonderful young men she created and nurtured. Your legacy goes on in all the hearts you touched.

Maria - God Bless you and your family. You will be missed by so many people. I had the pleasure of meeting you several years ago and also socializing with you and mutual friends on quite a few occassions.
