Grace Wolfe Obituary
74, went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2011. She was born July 20, 1936 in Robeline, LA to the late Harvey and Christella Brooks. Grace lived in McNary, AZ, Phoenix, AZ and most recently Las Vegas, NV before returning to live in Glendale, AZ. She was also preceded in death by 18 siblings and three infant children. Grace leaves to celebrate her life: children Murvin "JoJo" (Mary) Wolfe; Barbara (L. Darnell) Colbert and Anthony (Joyce) Wolfe; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; sister Edith Christella Brooks; brother Nathaniel Brooks; 120 nieces and nephews along with a host of cousins and special friends. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 9:00, Friday, April 1, 2011 in the Chapel at East Resthaven Park Mortuary and Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2011 also in the Chapel at East Resthaven followed by Interment.

Grace you are the most kindest person that I met since I have been here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I only knew you for 2 years. I enjoyed visting you and meeting some of your family. May you rest in peace. You have no worries now. Go ahead and be with the lord and your siblings. You earned it. I sorely miss you. Aunt Grace, So much time has passed but my memories of you still remain the same. As I sit here today. I can hear your voice and that contagious laugh. You were one of the most influential women in my life along with all the rest of my great aunts that I miss so dearly! We have one left, aunt Edith, and its nothing but a blessing to have lived and loved you all. But, our dear lord has decided to call you home to join your other sisters and brothers and I know all of you are happy to be back together again! But, just let us keep Aunt Edith and Grandpa(Nathaniel Brooks) here a little while longer. Rest in peace my dear sweet Aunt Grace..I Love You! And you will NEVER be forgotten!

This will always be my memory of Aunt Grace. Her smile, laughter, and jokes would bring joy to everyone around her, especially when my Daddy and Aunt Grace were together. It wasn't a dry eye in the place. When you go to heaven there is going to be tears of joy, because everyone is going to be glad to see your beautiful smile. We love you.
