Castaneda Gentry Obituary
77 of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on March 31, 2011. Loli was born April 1, 1933 in Tolleson, Arizona to Alipio and Refugia Castaneda. Loli is preceeded in death by her husband, Robert C. Gentry, Parents and two brothers, Ernesto and Pete. She is survived by her two sons, Anthony and Mark, daughter Pamela (Manuel) Sanchez, 4 grandchildren, Gabriel, Ruben (Marla), Aaron and Brittany, two great grandchildren Savannah and Ruben and 1 great grandchild on the way, brothers Raul and Benny. When Loli's grandchildren were very young she was affectionately named by them as Nana Honey. Soon after the name spread, all of those she came in contact with referred to her as Nana Honey. Nana Honey may have been a very small petite woman, but she had that fighter's spirit like no other. Our family would like to thank her family, friends, Cornerstone Hospice and caregivers for all their care and support. Donations can be made to: HHT.org. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. with visitation one hour prior at Crystal Rose Funeral Home 9155 W. Van Buren, Tolleson, AZ 85353.
