Ethel Hughes Obituary

Hughes, Ethel Bessie
was born May 24, 1920 in Allegheny, New York and passed away surrounded by her family on March 21, 2011. Ethel retired in 1982 from a 23 year career at Sperry and most recently was a resident of Desert Winds Retirement community. She was always ready for trips to the casino and luncheons with her "Red Hatters" group. She is preceded in death by her daughter Shirley Lee and survived by son-in-law Veldon Lee, grandchildren - Teri Occhiato (Joe), Niki Milsaps, Steve Gregory (Chris), Keli Gregory, Jacqui Hodge (Chuck): great-grandchildren - JoJo (Cheyenne), Nicole, Rebecca, Alyssa, Laci, Matt and Sierra and great-great grandchildren - Keagan, Destinee, Jayden, Xavier and Ayden. Ethel B leaves behind a loving family and countless friends and will be remembered for her smile and loving heart. We love and will miss you. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Arrowhead Hospital. While there were many nurses who provided care, Lindsay and Connie will be remembered the most fondly for their compassion to Ethel and her family. Services have already been held.

oh such a dear sweet lady who loved with all her heart and has helped me through my recent loss also..she was blessed with a wonderful family and i shall miss her so much..karen stephenson
