Louis Iglehart Obituary

Iglehart, Louis Denton
Louis Denton Iglehart, of Tempe, Arizona died suddenly on March 31, 2011. Born in Dalton, Missouri, June 20th, 1926, to Louis D. and Christine Davis Iglehart. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business at the University of Missouri in 1951. He was a proud member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Louie served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946 seeing action in the South Pacific. He then began his career in sales and later in citrus farming and real estate. Louie is survived by his loving wife Fanchon and their six children; Cece (Jeff) Derickson, Marce (Bob) McKay, Donald (Judy) Bartow, Cathy Bartow, Jeannie (Peter) Hartman, and Bob (Debby) Iglehart. Louis was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob Iglehart and Don Iglehart of Missouri. He was a life member of the Mesa HoHoKams. Louie was an avid golfer for many years and a friend to all. He was easily recognized by his bright orange (and later silver) hair and engaging smile. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, April 8th at Friendship Village located at 2645 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mesa HoHoKam Foundation, Inc. P.O. Box 261, Mesa, AZ 85211.
