Karen Trapp Obituary

Trapp, Karen Ann (Draheim)
Karen went to heaven peacefully with family by her side on March 16, 2011 after a short battle with lung cancer. Karen was born on April 30, 1941 in Paris Station, NY to Paul and Viola Draheim. Her family moved to Beaver Dam, WI where she met and married Donald Lee Trapp. Karen is preceded in death by her father, Paul Otto Draheim. Karen is survived by her four children, William (Rhonda) of Queen Creek, AZ, Mark of Horicon, WI, Daniel of Apache Junction, AZ, and Kim of Tempe, AZ. Karen is also survived by her nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, mother Viola (WI), brother Paul Dean Draheim (Bernie) of MN, sister Marilyn Weijola of AZ, sister Nancy Schwantz (Al) of WI, sister Sheri Cummins of FL, sister Debbie Cummins of WI, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Karen spent many years in the restaurant business before moving to AZ where she managed Sunset Villa Apts, worked for Olive Garden and Wal-Mart for past 11 years. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 11am to 3 pm at Red Mountain Park 7745 E Brown Rd Mesa, AZ. The family is encouraging friends and co-workers to join in this memorial celebration of Karen's life.

I remember going to Aunt Karens as a kid and playing with my cousins Billy, Mark, Danny and Kim. I always thought she was so beautiful. God bless her and may she rest in peace.
