Guelda Hustad Obituary
66, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on March 31, 2011. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 12, 1944 to Katherine and McClain Blaker. She graduated from Scottsdale High Class of 1962 and married Orland March 7, 1963. Thank you for your encouragement, creativity and unique gifts, you will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her husband, Orland; son Jeff and his wife Wendy of Phoenix; daughter Wendy and her partner Julie of Portland, OR and grandchildren; Bryce, Brittanee, Parker, Austin and Justin. She is also survied by brother Ronald, sisters; Jo, Barbara, Debbie and many loving neices and nephews. Private Services.

I am very proud to have Guelda apart of our family, when she was in the room she was alway very happy and treated everyone with kindness. She had away of putting a smile on everyone face. Jeff and Wendy you had an amazing mom. Lots of Love, Barb

Guelda was a truely a very special person.I 'm proud to have worked for her at Medtronic. I realy like Guelda alot and was missed when she retired. I feel the pain of such a great loss. My thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends. Stevie

Oh, you all are in my thoughts. I remember Mrs. Hustad (Wendy's Mom to me) as such a nice lady when I was a little girl and I'd come over to play. She was kind to me and I've only ever heard wonderful things about her from others, as well. May her memory be for a blessing.

I met Guelda when her daughter, Wendy, and I were roommates years ago. She was so caring toward me. She was a very kind person. My thoughts and prayers go to the family.

Dearest Wendy-
I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I cannot begin to understand the pain you and your family must be feeling.
Your mother was a woman whose greatness can be seen in her children. You and your brother are so secure and successful, which is a true testament to the good person she was.

We too worked with Guelda at Medtronic. We will always remember her kind thoughts and words, her jokes she loved to tell and her willingness to offer a hand. I worked for Guelda at Medtronic, in Tempe, and she was a wonderful, sweet lady. I recently asked her if I could list her as a reference, and she said, " I would be proud." I was so touched by that, It made ME the proud one to have known her. She loved her family so much. She was very proud of Bryce and ALL of her family. I pray she rest in peace and I know she will always watch over her family.
