Albert Smith Obituary
"Dicki" passed away, March 31, 2011 at the age of 66. He was a native of Arizona. He was married to his sweetheart of 25 years, Jeannie. Dicki was a man with many qualities and was known for his intellect. He was a teacher, worked with his uncle's structural house moving business, did drafting, had his real estate license, was a notary, a part of the sheriff's diving posse and could converse on any subject. Dicki is survived by many adoring family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie, children, Sam Smith, Summer (Steven) Pickel, step-son, Jeff (Aimee) Lawrence, sister, Karen Dow, niece, Shelley Dow, Aunt June, 12 grandchildren and many more adoring cousins and friends. Services will be held April 9, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at Church of Good Samaritan, 4049 W. Osborn Rd in Phoenix. A gathering will immediately follow. Contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Humane Society. For additional information, visit www.greenwoodmemorylawn.com

We had to say goodbye to our dear Dickie. He was all that a cousin (but more like a sister) could ask for. He could outdance and outthink most. A rare combination and a rare breed. I will miss him so much.

Jeannie and Family, my condolences to all of you. Summer, your Dad was a wise man and you had a special bond with him. Steven always told me how he and your dad would share their thoughts on how to fix the world. I'm sorry your kids will miss knowing their grandfather as they grow, but you and Steven will have great stories to share with them about him.
