Thomas F. Bremer, 88, passed away on April 1, 2011, with the love and support of his wife and five children at his side. Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Herman and Alice Bremer. He attended Cathedral Latin High School and the University of Notre Dame where he received his business and law degrees. At Notre Dame, Tom was a member of the glee club and he remained a supporter of the Fighting Irish throughout his life. After college, Tom returned to Cleveland where he practiced law for almost 50 years. Soon after his return to Cleveland Tom met his future wife Anne Murphy to whom he was married for over 57 years. Tom is survived by his loving wife Anne, his sister Peg Grenwis, and his five children: Chris (Celeste), Patty Iwaoka (Kako), Peggy Janik (Ed), Janet (Gerardo Gamboa), and Judy (Dan Seiter). Grandchildren include Miko Price (Justin), Mariko Iwaoka, Jennifer Gamboa (deceased), Nicole Norris, Keni Iwaoka (deceased), Tim Bremer, Nicholas Gamboa, Heather Bremer, Lloyd Seiter and Ellie Seiter. He was great grandfather to Alex and Addie Price. Tom enjoyed travel and accumulated a long list of friends around the world. He never met a person he didn't like. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM, Thursday, April 7, 2011, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Mass will be held at 10AM, Friday, April 8, 2011, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11300 N. 64th St., Scottsdale.
