Barbara Espanio Obituary

Espanio, Barbara Shimizu
78, of Chandler, AZ, died April 2, 2011 in Chandler. Born in Agana, Guam, Barbara moved to California with her late husband, Justiniano Espanio, in the mid '60's and to Chandler in 1977. She was a cashier and hostess at the Chandler Luby's Restaurant for 10 years. She is survived by her children, Lina Beavers-Molina, Tomas Espanio, Tony Espanio, and Martin Espanio, as well as 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Justin, Jr., and Jack. Also surviving are her sisters, Susa Borja, June Rivera, Carmen San Augustin (Joe), Virginia Becksted (Dennis); and brother, Jack Shimizu (Teri). Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thurs., Apr. 7, at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr., Chandler. Funeral services will be at 10 am Fri., Apr. 8, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. A luncheon for family and friends at the American Legion, 2240 W. Chandler Blvd, Chandler, will follow the graveside services.
