Fergus, Shirley M.
Shirley Margaret Fergus, 75, of Mesa, AZ died April 3, 2011 at Emeritus at Baywood Assisted Living while under Hospice of the Valley care. Shirley was born Sept 21, 1935 to Ethel and Wilhelm Timm in Holstein, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vern and Billy Gene Timm. She is survived by husband Raymond, daughters: Debbie and Terry Frydenlund of Yuma, AZ, and Barbara Fergus and partner Kevin Burr, of Louisville, NE, grandchildren Kristina and Michael Slaughter, of Show Low, AZ, Eric and Breanna Frydenlund, of Lakeside, AZ, Zachary Burr, Chelsa Burr, of Louisville, NE, Great-Grandchildren Austin, Seth, and MacKenzie Slaughter, and Ariel Burr. She is also survived by her siblings Harriet Jorgenson of Minden, NE, Marilyn Henry of Juniata, NE, Wayne Timm of Hastings, NE, and Dale Schmidt of Monument, CO / Chandler, AZ. She was schooled in Hastings, NE, and raised by her widowed mother from 2 years old. Married July 8, 1953, to Raymond K Fergus in Las Vegas, NV and had their residence in Los Angeles, CA until 1955 when they moved to Denver, CO. Saturday, April 9, 2011, Sunland Village East Chapel, Mesa, AZ In lieu of flowers send donations to breast cancer research of your choice.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ray, Debbie & the entire family. Shirley will be greatly missed and we celebrate her life. We feel so fortunate to have met Shirley and Ray and have wonderful memories of our times together. I always considered them my "Arizona mom an dad" - I'll miss you "mom". Carol & Denny Walton
