Robert Medina Obituary

Medina, Robert "Bobby" V.
69, of Phoenix passed away on April 2, 2011. Bobby was born in Phoenix, Arizona on August 18, 1941, into a large family. He loved being a teenager in the 50's. As a young man, he met and married a beautiful young lady, Ramona, who could have had anyone she wanted and she chose him. The marriage lasted until her passing, over 40 years later. That union brought four children, Joanne, Robert Jr., Mona, and Frank. Although he worked hard all his life in construction, he enjoyed his work and never complained. The lowest point in his life was the loss of his youngest son, Frank. However, his passing brought a close family closer together. His home was his castle and he was able to live independently all his life. He said his greatest achievement were his children, stating, "They're good kids." He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony, Melissa, Delfino, Christina, and Angel, 6 great-grandchildren, and many brothers and sisters that love him and will miss him. Services will be held on 04/06/2011 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church at 9 a.m. followed by internment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
