Jill Yakus Obituary
60, of Mountain Park Ranch, Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2011 in Hospice of the Valley, Tempe, Arizona. Born in Washington, D.C. on July 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Albert L. and Violet J. Schooley. Jill attended and graduated from Wy oming Valley West High School, Kingston, Pa., Class of 1968. She was formerly employed by the Social Security Administration, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Surviving in addition to her husband of 38 years, Ron Yakus are sons Ron Yakus Jr. and his wife JaeEun, Gilbert, Arizona, Chris Yakus and his wife Jennifer, Gilbert, Arizona, Brother, Arv Schooley and his wife Betty, Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Private services will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona at the family's request. We have some great memories of Jill at many little league through high school baseball games where we sat on the sidelines enjoying our boys, their Dads and the games. Jill was a very fun and friendly person we all enjoyed seeing. Our thoughts are with all of you during these times..as we have not had contact over the past years and read about your loss. May the happy memories be in your hearts as they are in ours.

Dear Ron and family,
I am so sad to read about the loss of Jill.
She was a wonderful neighbor, always there with a smile or hug. Her holiday displays were always the best on the block!
