Carrie La Farnara Obituary
Beloved mother of Judith and Sandra La Farnara, Carrie departed this life on April 5, 2011 to reunite with her devoted husband Carmen. Carrie was born on March 17, 1931in Benezette, Pennsylvania and has lived in Mesa, Arizona for 19 years. Carrie will be sadly missed by surviving relatives and friends in Arizona, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. Memorial services will be held on April 9, 2011 at Resurrection Catholic Church with private interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to the family or Hospice of the Valley, Arbor Home in Mesa, Arizona.

Sandra, I'll NEVER forget the day at the hospital-we hadn't seen each other for YEARS!!!!! And when we met each other's mothers-that day was such a gift. Remember my mom was all finished with her infusion and we stayed and chatted with you and your mom. I don't think I've laughed as hard since that day we all shared. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to meet your mom-she truly was an extraordinary woman. All one needs to do is meet you and your sister to recognize what a strong woman she was. I am so saddened to hear of her death-my heart aches for you. I am holding you all close in my heart and in my prayers.
