Doris Deardorff Obituary

Deardorff, Doris M
78, formerly of Indianapolis, IN. passed away April 5, 2011. The loving wife and mother of three is survived by her wonderful husband of 56 years, David; her three daughters, Kim (Bob) McFall, Karla (John) Lux, and Karan Deardorff and her five grandchildren, Jennifer, Morgan and Gavin Lux and Maggie and Scott McFall. Doris was an active member of the Church of the Palms UCC, a Past High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, and a Past Worthy Matron Order of the Eastern Star. A celebration of Doris' life will be held Saturday, April 16, Church of the Palms, Sun City, at 2pm. The family requests donations be made to the Shrine Hospitals for Children.

We were sorry to learn of Doris' passing. I have so many memories of Doris and the Deardorff family going back to the early days of RISE at the Baxter YMCA and Meridian Middle School. She was a wonderful lady. You all are in our thoughts. Jim and Jill Due (Chicago, IL)
