Dennis Fisher Obituary

Fisher, Dennis Reynolds
Our best friend, Dennis Reynolds Fisher, 58, passed away April 5, 2011, in Glendale. He was born April 9, 1952, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the only child of Joseph Reynolds Fisher and Madolin Patricia Robertson Fisher. Dennis was a 1970 graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School. He received a Bachelor's in physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, a Masters in astronomy from the University of Illinois, and a Masters in computer science from Brigham Young University. Dennis served an LDS mission to Central America (1975-1977) including Honduras, Costa Rica, and Panama. He spent 30 years working as a software engineer, most recently for Battelle Memorial Institute. On August 14, 1979, Dennis married Mary Virginia Clark in the Washington DC LDS Temple. Survivors include his wife, Mary, three children: Meredeth Leigh Robison (Ryan), Megan Lindsay Fisher and Joseph Clark Fisher; one grandson, James Ryan Robison; aunt, Marjorie Fisher Hunt; and two cousins, Richard F Hunt and Virginia Chambers. We honor Dennis for his devotion to family, quick wit, end
less generosity and loyalty to friends. Services will be Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7871 W. Acoma Dr, Peoria, with a visitation at 9 AM.

I remember what a joyful man Dennis is; when we first moved our family to Peoria from Maryland many years ago with our three young children, it was our pleasure to count Dennis and Mary as our friends. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
