John Weis Obituary

Weis, John G.
102, of Roosevelt, AZ passed away on March 21, 2011. He was born in Rentweinsdorf, Germany, on October 27, 1908. He trained and received his Master Tailor certification as a young teen. He came to the United States in 1925, sponsered by his uncle. He worked on his uncle's farm, and delivered milk by horse-drawn wagon to repay his uncle. In 1947, he brought his young family to Arizona, residing in Chandler and Tempe. He supported his family working as a contract tailor at Williams Air Force base for over 30 years.John was predeceased by his wife, Regina, daughters Carmen Weis and Linda Weis Moss, and second wife Ruby Hale Weis. John is survived by his son Eric, Sr. (Betty), stepdaughter Yvonne Laree Cranson (Alan), five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren, and one step-greatgrandson. A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall, 4400 S. Butte in Tempe at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9th, 2011.

I am sorry for your loss at this time. Having faced death in my family also I found comfort in the promise God gives through his Son in 1 Cor 15:26 "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing"
