Edward Brozek Obituary
"Mr. B", of Sun City, AZ., passed away April 4, 2011 after a courageous fight with Alzheimer's and lung disease. Mr. B was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on July 21, 1939 to John and Julia Brozek. He is survived by his wife Jane and daughter Candace. Mr. B retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 after 22 years of service. He went on to work for Civil Service for another 22 years retiring in 2004. Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing in Nebraska, and also playing golf. He will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Advantage Maryvale Funeral Home, 6901 W. Indian School Rd. Instead of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's or the American Lung Association. His ashes will be placed in Grand Island City Cemetery, Grand Island, NE at a later date.

I worked for Mr. Brozek in the mid 90's and again in the late 90's. I always said he was one of the best supervisors I ever worked for and was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I always hoped that upon a return trip to Phoenix I would be able to fit in a visit with him. Farewell Mr B The world seems a little less bright now that you've passed.
